New coworking space “Idea Fair”

On Tuesday, February 13, the grand opening of the new coworking space “Idea Fair” at the Prague University of Economics and Business took place. This modern space is located on the first floor of the Old Building of VŠE and brings innovative design and an environment that provides ideal conditions for efficient work.   

Students will find a wide range of opportunities for studying, working on projects and space for creative brainstorming and cooperation.  

This event started with an opening speech by Petr Dvořák, Rector of the Prague University of Economics and Business, and thanks to Václav Šubrta, Director of the VŠE Library (CIKS). The CIKS Director, among other things, highlighted the importance of the cooperation that led to the creation of the “Idea Fair” space. Jakub Heidler, the architect and creator of the “Idea Fair” concept, from Studio Reaktor, also presented himself during the event. The opening of the coworking space itself attracted many curious students for whom the whole project was created.

Among other things, the “Idea Fair” space is equipped with comfortable furniture and various work and study zones to fully meet the diverse needs of students. For example, students can also enjoy a delicious coffee to make their time spent on projects or studying more enjoyable.  

The new coworking space provides students with a unique opportunity to combine study, work and rest in a modern and inspiring environment. Its opening marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration and creativity at VŠE.
