Meeting of Student Associations and the University Management
On the first weekend in October, after a long covid break, the student associations and the school administration held an away meeting, which was directed by the Event Centre. The exit meeting was also attended by Vice-Rectors Ota Novotný and Pavel Hnát and Rector Petr Dvořák. The packed program started on Friday, September 30, when all participants gathered in large numbers at the venue, the Tesla Seč campus, and right after dinner the societies got to know each other in the get-acquainted games prepared by the representatives of the student senators.
On Saturday, October 1, the program started at 9:30 a.m. with the introduction of the new PR team, its vision and new ideas for the future, and the Vice-Rector for Development and Corporate Relations, Mr. Ota Novotny, also gave his speech here, also talking about innovations concerning student societies. In the same vein was the follow-up presentation by the Event Centre, which is in charge of the entire agenda of booking and renting spaces on campus, which was one of the main changes that the societies were introduced to. The morning session of presentations ended with a short discussion, which was specifically about the agenda of the PR team and the Event Centre.
The afternoon block of lectures began with two blocks at once, one discussing the use of coworking spaces and the other discussing ways to make societies visible to new students. The whole Saturday programme, packed with brainstorming and networking, ended with a short debate with the Rector. On Sunday after breakfast, after a successful session and full of new ideas, all participants left back to Prague.
