Photography exhibition – Michael Hanke – EMOTIONS
On Monday, February 13, 2023, the opening ceremony of the photography exhibition called EMOTIONS by Michael Hanke took place in the atrium of the VŠE Rajska building.
A large number of people interested in Michael Hanke’s work attended the opening ceremony, where they even had the chance to meet the author of the photographs himself. Later, a violin concert was also part of the program.
Exhibition visitors can see the pictures of the author’s most successful projects. For example, the photo series called “Youth Chess Tournaments” and “Never Saw Him Cry” awarded at the prestigious World Press Photo contest. It seems that people in the photographs have nothing in common, however, Michael Hanke does not focus on the characters alone, but rather on the emotions that they are experiencing at the moment of being photographed.
The exhibition will continue until March 12, 2023, in the atrium of the VŠE Rajska building.
