EuroPython Prague 2024 at Žižkov

This weekend (July 13-14, 2024) belonged to the next edition of EuroPython Prague: Sprints. Just like last year, this “sprint weekend” took place at the premises of the Prague University of Economics and Business. The event is focused on effective collaboration in the field of programming, coding and quick IT problem solving.

EuroPython Sprints annually concludes the successful EuroPython conference. During the weekend, participants can translate the acquired theory into practice and share the acquired know-how with their colleagues with the help of teambuilding.

And what are these “Sprints” actually about?

They are a form of short, improvised coding gatherings where anyone interested in a particular project can express their view and contribute to fast and effective problem-solving. These meetings aim to encourage individual team members to share their ideas and knowledge in this field with others. Additionally, during these Sprints participants are given the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge they gained at the conference.

The entire event organized by EuroPython in cooperation with VŠE Event Centre took place in the Rajská Building of VŠE at Žižkov. The total number of attendees exceeded 250 people, coming from various parts of Europe.
