ISPP 2025
From 3 to 6 July 2025, the 48th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Political Psychology (ISPP) took place at the campus of the Prague University of Economics and Business. This prestigious international conference, focused on the intersection of psychology and politics, was organized by the VŠE Event Centre.
ISPP 2025 became the largest edition in the history of the conference. A total of 930 participants from around the world came to Prague – including academics, researchers, students, and practitioners. The event was held at the Žižkov campus of VŠE and featured dozens of expert panels, keynote lectures, and discussions. This year’s theme was: “Social Identity, Political Conflict, and the Future of Democracy.” Participants addressed current issues such as polarization, identity, democracy, and conflict in both global and local contexts.
Organizing an event of this scale also brought unexpected challenges – including a power outage. Thanks to the quick response of the VŠE Event Centre team and the university’s technical support, the program continued without significant disruption. The main organizers of the conference praised the professional approach and flexibility of the services provided by the VŠE Event Centre.
The combination of modern infrastructure, an experienced team, and an academic environment makes VŠE an ideal venue for conferences, workshops, and networking events. VŠE is not only a place of education, but also a vibrant hub of professional dialogue that connects academia with practice and inspires the growth of individuals and institutions.
