2024 Annual Congress of the IIPF

The 80th Annual Congress of the International Institute of Public Finance is being held at the Prague University of Economics and Business from August 21 – 23, 2024. For this year, the organizers decided to cooperate with VŠE Event Centre and chose the Prague University of Economics and Business as the venue. 

The main theme is International Tax Sheltering and Inequality.

The Scientific Committee is chaired by Professors Dominika Langenmayr (Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany) and Daniel Reck (University of Maryland, USA). The Local Organizing Committee is chaired by doc. PhDr. Lubomír Cingl, Ph.D. (Prague University of Economics and Business, VŠE) and PhDr. Miroslav Palanský, Ph.D. (Charles University).

The 2024 congress aims to highlight current research on the magnitude and mechanisms of tax sheltering as well as its implications for inequality.

IIPF 2024 is intended for both practitioners and academics.
