Career Fair ŠANCE

On Tuesday October 19th the three day prestigious career fair ŠANCE began after two years again in-person on the premises of the Prague University of Economics and Business. The grand opening was traditionally led by the director of the Development and Counseling Centre Ing. Mgr. Martin Rey, the head of the Career Centre Ing. Alžběta Gvoždiaková and the head of the Event Centre Bc. Daniel Bielczyk.

The event took place in the atrium of Rajska Building and was attended by 63 exhibiting companies which used the unique opportunity to look for their new colleagues. More than 7500 students had the chance to meet the employers, find a new job or an internship and adjust their study plans to better fit the needs of the job market.

As part of the fair, attending students could make use of the services of a professional photographer and make-up artist, consult their CV, learn about student societies and VŠE workplaces or attend a career workshop about working with the LinkedIn platform. Just like every year, hundreds of students competed for valuable prizes donated by some of the exhibitors.

We are happy we could meet again in person on this occasion. The next ŠANCE, taking place in April 19.-24. 2022, is already being prepared.

We believe we will be seeing the students and the companies` representatives again soon on another occasion.
