VŠE Talent 2026
Do you sing, dance, play a musical instrument, entertain an audience or have a talent that deserves to be seen? Sign up for VŠE Talent 2026 and show us what you’ve got.
You have a unique opportunity to perform in front of an audience, compete with other contestants and put your talent in the spotlight. Students, alumni, academics and staff of VŠE can all enter the competition. For group performances, at least half of the group members must meet this requirement.
Signing up is easy. Simply fill in the registration form and briefly introduce your performance.
From Casting to Lucerna
VŠE Talent consists of three rounds. The first is the Casting, where the jury will select the finalists. This is followed by the Final at the Vencovský Auditorium, with the five best contestants advancing to the final exhibition as part of the VŠE Representative Ball at Lucerna in Prague.
Important dates:
- 24 October 2026 – Application Deadline
- 29 October 2026 – Casting
- 12 November 2026 – Finale
- 2 December 2026 – Exhibition at Lucerna
If you are unable to attend the Casting in person, you can submit a video of your performance instead. Personal attendance is required in the following rounds.
What’s in it for you?
Making it to the Final means not only getting the opportunity to perform in front of an audience, but also receiving a ticket to the VŠE Representative Ball. The five best finalists will also perform at the Ball at Lucerna and receive a cash prize. The first-place winner will receive CZK 30,000, the second-place winner CZK 20,000, the third-place winner CZK 10,000, while the fourth- and fifth-place winners will each receive CZK 5,000.
Your performance should be no longer than 3 minutes and must be safe to perform in VŠE’s indoor venues. The format of your performance is entirely up to you – originality counts.
