Statement from the Management of VŠE on the Event at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University
We are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic event that took place at the Faculty of Philosophy at the Charles University. This horrific act completely contradicts all the values that we as an academic institution uphold. Violence in any form is contrary to the principles of mutual respect, understanding, and intellectual growth, which are the foundation of university mission.
In these difficult times, we express our deepest condolences and solidarity with everyone affected by this incident. Our thoughts are with every student, faculty member, employee, and their families who have been impacted by this event and are going through immensely painful moments.
